Julie Kim is currently a senior majoring in Biology. She spends most of her time singing jazz, running the Williams Christian magazine, and working in the lab. After taking courses about Asian Art and South Asian temples, she wanted to visit and study Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples in East Asia. Through this travel course, she anticipates to visit numerous shrines and temples in Kyoto and to learn extensively about the life and dedication of an artisan.
