Alex is a sophomore math and computer science major from Mamaroneck, NY, where he likes to play soccer and chess.
He loves to travel and takes frequent trips to Bulgaria to see family.
Being a meditator himself, he’s particularly excited to learn about the rich history of Buddhism in Kyoto. He hopes to absorb as much as possible about living a simpler and more understanding life!
