Delsa Lopez is a Williams College sophomore prospectively majoring in English and Japanese majors. Originally from New York City and the Dominican Republic, Delsa is an intermediate speaker of Japanese with a special interest in Japanese literature and craft（kogei、工藝）. Her admiration for Japanese culture stemmed from her love of fiction writers such as Murakami and Soseki. She aspires to be an English and/or Japanese professor and translate Japanese media, as well as learn other languages. Delsa wishes to live in Japan one day and sp00k the natives with her black excellence.

村上や漱石といったフィクション作家への彼から日本文化が大好きになった。英語と日本語の教授になり、日本語のメディアを翻訳したいと思っている。そして、他の言語も学ぶことを目指している。 いつか日本に住見たいと思っている。
