Our instructors teach core courses in macroeconomics, econometrics, public economics, and growth and development in the fall semester. During Winter Study in January, students may choose from one of several courses. In the spring, the CDE offers a range of classes of which students will select four electives courses, including either an Oxford-style discoursive tutorial or an independent study. Our instructors include full-time Williams faculty, as well as policy experts with decades of experience in the field at instutions such as the International Monetary Fund and the Peterson Institute.
