It would be hard to avoid speaking in front of groups, whether in informal settings like telling a joke to our friends or in a more formal arena such as presenting an idea in front of colleagues at a meeting. Presentation skills that allow you to convey your thoughts clearly and effectively while engaging your audience can come in handy, no matter the particulars of the situation.
