Ocean City

After four itinerant years since retirement, on September 28, 2020, I bought a small condo on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey. Living on the ocean has been a life-long dream. I have daily sunrise walks, bike rides on the Boardwalk, and body surfing in the ocean (even now in November in my wet suit). I’m also playing lots of bridge online with my favorite partners from across the country and beyond. Live cam of my beach.  More  photos  at  SeeingHappy.com.BodySurf3

I first considered Florida, toured the East Coast from New Hampshire to Georgia, almost settled on San Diego. I was fascinated by Australia, Rio with its bridge club just off the dazzling beach, and especially Cuba. But in the end I chose my favorite old spot on Earth since childhood.

Ocean City is a great spot, I vacation each year in Cape May. New Jersey has great beaches. Cuba I have never been to, but love the old cars. Looks like you made the right choice with choosing Ocean City, N.J.

I spent the first two summers of my life in Belmar, in 1943 and 1944, with my mother and his family while my father was in Europe in the medical corps (landing on Normandy on D-day + 8, going through the battle of the Bulge, providing medical services at a Camp).
