With deep thanks to the community for the great feedback we received on the first round of design mockups, we’re pleased to share with you the revised mockups of the web redesign. These new designs reflect the working group and web team’s efforts to make the homepage feature grid simpler and cleaner visually, to make the navigation even clearer and the utility items (search, Quick Links, etc.) easier to read and find. We considered many options in response to the wonderful input we received, and we feel strongly that this new version is–as a result of that input–vastly improved. Thank you!

Much more work remains in the project–working on some of the pages deeper in the site (those off of the four main landing pages, for instance), developing the Quick Links and search interfaces, and then building the whole thing. We’re aiming for a fall launch of the redesign, so stay tuned, and don’t hesitate to be in touch via our web feedback form with any questions or concerns.
