Web Redesign Project

Information Architecture

We are happy to share publicly the efforts of the working group and web project team on the information architecture for the redesign of the Williams site. The short slideshow linked below presents “wire frames” that detail the content and links we envision on the new site. The wire frames are not meant convey any sense of how the site will be designed — that’s coming soon!

Each slide contains comments explaining some of the thinking behind the decisions made. In a nutshell, the redesign seeks to make the most prominent few pages of the site highly accessible and engaging to an external audience. At the same time, we are building tools that should make the site significantly easier to use for those of us who rely on it to do our daily work. Please have a look and don’t hesitate to share your thoughts by filling out our feedback form.
