Research Assistant – ENVI Analysis Lab
Positions are available for up to 9 weeks in the summer as part of the Summer Science Research program or up to 10 hours per week during the semester. The hourly rate follows the MA minimum wage but the actual rate may depend on class year. Summer position includes housing with the purchase of meal plan.
Responsibilities: work in the Environmental Analysis Lab on campus and maintenance of weather station and stream gaging equipment in Hopkins Memorial Forest (HMF). Will also work in conjunction with the ENVI Lab Supervisor on the long-term environmental databases.
Qualifications: Laboratory skills are highly recommended and previous field experience a plus. Experience with Excel/Sheets/R and other spreadsheet and graphics software would be valuable. Preference will be given to enrolled Williams College students who are self-motivated, reliable, and work well independently with minimal supervision.
