Research Assistant – ENVI Analysis Lab

Positions are available for up to 9 weeks in the summer as part of the Summer Science Research program or 10 hours per week during the semester. Summer salary is $535/week and semester hourly pay rates range from $15 to $15.25 depending upon class year. Summer position includes 8 weeks of housing with the purchase of meal plan.

Responsibilities: work in the Environmental Analysis Lab on campus and maintenance of weather station and stream gaging equipment in Hopkins Memorial Forest (HMF). Will also work in conjunction with the ENVI Lab Supervisor on the long-term environmental databases.

Qualifications: Laboratory skills are required and previous field experience a plus. Experience with Excel/Sheets and other spreadsheet and graphics software would be valuable. Preference will be given to Williams College students who are self-motivated, reliable, and work well independently with minimal supervision.
