Students that assist in the excavation at Omrit have the opportunity to visit numerous archaeological and historical sites in Israel. These educational trips are usually on Saturdays and Sundays. They help students expand their knowledge of Roman and Byzantine presence in the region and they teach students about methodologies of archaeological excavation.

In addition to these day trips, students usually have the chance to visit Jerusalem and Masada at the end of the archaeological season at Omrit.
