Last week at HTA. I can’t believe it’s already been 8 weeks. Reflecting not just on this week, but on the entire trip: there were plenty of ups and downs, yet I’ve learned so many valuable lessons and experienced some truly amazing and sometimes unexplainable moments.
HTA has brought me closer to my family and to Taiwanese culture. I’ve built friendships I never could have imagined, made possible only through HTA and the generosity of the Wilmers and Linen donors of Williams College.
I want to thank all the teachers who poured so much time and energy into us into helping us grow not just as students, but as language learners and people.
This last week, I soaked in every bit of it: the incredible food, the time spent with friends and teachers, and the quality moments with family. I’m so glad I took this journey and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who made it possible.
