Deepening our knowledge and understanding of Korean Culture
Throughout the program, the Korean School has never failed to incorporate practices to help us better learn and understand the culture while learning the language.
Archery, for example, is a sport that is very popular and considered to be dominated by South Korea in international competitions. I truly appreciated the opportunity to have learned and done Archery recently. It was my first time, and I really enjoyed it.
This week, I have also been busy with the 동아리 related events because the school’s talent show is approaching. Specifically, I am preparing to perform with the 문학 동아리, 사물놀리 동아리, and the 드라마 동아리. I would consider this week to have been one of the busiest for me.
In the classroom, I also had written assignments, a 발표, and quizzes to study for as well. I had to manage my time well in order to stay on top of all of my tasks. Fortunately, as many of us were in the same boat, I found study-buddys and friends who were willing to study together and keep one another accountable.
This was extremely motivating and made the process as well as this week feel much easier to go through!
