Lots and lots of walking. Temperatures rising. Boba has been drunk. 牛肉面 devoured. Too many cafés to count—and yes, a gym membership has officially been bought.
I said goodbye to my sister and mom at the beginning of this week—bittersweet, but exciting, because now I’m completely on my own.
I love my teachers; 小Wu 老师 and 大Wu 老师 are the highlights of my day. And chatting with Chen 老师 in our one-on-one sessions? Always a good time.
I also went to Haidilao for the first time (of course it had to be in Taiwan), and made pottery in the Yingge District! I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t frustrating when my cup turned out so ugly… but the experience itself was fun. Perhaps.
We also visited the Lin Family Mansion for our Saturday excursion. It was super fun—but also exhausting. A long week, to say the least.
