Week 2: Harvard Taipei Academy | 哈台班

I’d be lying if I said the course load isn’t overwhelming. We have homework every day, 小考试 to prepare for, and a minimum of two hours of studying daily. But I know that once I figure out an efficient way of studying, the workload won’t feel as heavy.

There were also so many activities on Friday and Saturday that I didn’t want to miss out on, but participating in all of them was exhausting! The heat here is no joke. On Friday, I spent the day with another National Taiwan University student, and that was such a fun experience! We learned about Taiwan’s history, walked through different museums and souvenir shops, visited a temple where I burned incense for the first time, and stopped at at least three different 饮料 cafés.

On Saturday, we went to the National Palace Museum, where I saw the famous white cabbage carved out of jade. I grabbed some really good boba from their café, and overall, it made for a great second week at HTA!
