HTA Week 1

My first week at HTA, I already knew I was in for an incredible experience. I met so many new people and learned about who they were and why they were passionate about studying Chinese, explored Taipei, adjusted to the pace of class, and got used to NTU’s beautiful campus. For our Friday activity, I went with a group and an NTU student to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, and on Saturday we visited the National Palace Museum. Overall, it was a great introduction to Taipei and the surrounding area, and the type of cultural immersion I would continue to experience throughout the program.
