I will first write this first post in English. This first week has been exciting, scary, but most importantly I realized that it is very hard to talk to people. I have met really interesting people, from teachers, dancers, musicians, cruise officers, to military staff. It is really interesting how foreign language learning brings so many people from different backgrounds together. The Middlebury environment is definitely out of my comfort zone. I am not used to eating meals with people all the time. I think I am more worried about the exhaustion that comes after interacting too much with people, but I look forward to this challenge. Maybe my social skills will improve! All of the teachers are truly amazing, I look forward to getting to know them a little better.
