Staff Council Meeting     Location: Faculty House, Lounge

Thursday, September 12, 2013     Time: 11:00 – 12:00 p.m.

In Attendance:  Martha Tetrault, ex officio, Colleen Bethoney, ex officio, Sue Galli, Donna Richardson, Doug Rydell Absent:   Don Chilson, Michele Migdal, Bette Phelps, Michele Rech, Tony Sinico, Angela Copeland

Minutes:

1. Staff Winter Break – Martha announced that Staff Winter break is now part of the holiday schedule.  How best to communicate this to the campus was discussed.

2.  Committee – Doug, Sue and Donna were going to reach out to colleagues in Facilities to recruit one if not two new members to our committee.  They will report back on their progress.

3. Other – HR and an interview committee consisting of Lori DuBois, Molly O’Brien, Doug Rydell and Suzanne Silitch are presently recruiting for a Training & Development Manager.  Hope to have the new hire on board by mid-October.

Next scheduled meeting:  Thursday, October 10th  Human Resource Conference Room  11:00 a.m.
