Climate Z explores the innovative methods of community-based regenerative agro-pastoralism––including irrigation, cultivation, grazing–– that have been practiced for millennia in Zangskar. Our Climate Z team will engage hundreds of Zangskar pa to:

• Develop integrative landscape management plans
• Conduct citizen science to measure environmental variables and their impact on communal resources of water, food, fodder, fuel, and trees 
• Develop workshops to produce knowledge around water & land rights, seed banks, and climate advocacy.
