Alphabet Soup with Claire takes after the idea that with each spoonful, you get a different mix of letters. Each week I pick a letter from a bowl on my desk and then construct a theme around it, whether that means “C” is for Covers, “J” is for Joyride (songs for the open road), “M” is for Motown, or “V” is for Video (songs with iconic music videos). The theme is both constrictive enough to help me pare down my 15,000+ song library but flexible enough that I can include an eclectic mix of tunes, be creative with the theme, and incorporate new music all the time. I am all about listener participation and happily take requests that gel with the theme! Thanks for checking out my show!
