Join the Williams African Students Organization (WASO) for our annual Africa Heritage Week, a vibrant celebration of Africa’s rich cultures, histories, and contributions to the world. Through a series of engaging events—including panel discussions, performances, games, and cultural showcases—we aim to foster meaningful dialogue, challenge stereotypes, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for Africa’s diversity at Williams College. Whether you're of African descent or simply curious to learn more, this week is an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and explore the beauty and resilience of the African continent.

Join us for an insightful discussion of the state of economics in Africa with African Williams alumni at Harvard Business School and fellows from the Center for Development Economics (CDE)! The discussion will cover economic updates and progress in Africa, the economist's analysis of it, and projected futures, with time for our panelists to answer your questions.

Come dressed in your finest attire (formal or cultural wear encouraged!) and immerse yourself in an evening of love, community, and pan-African pride.
