The Makerspace prioritizes academic project requests. (We’ll assist with personal project requests as our workload permits.) Faculty, staff or students may request training to operate designated 3D printers or other resources; after demonstrating competency and knowledge of safety, they gain limited privileges to use these machines.

The Makerspace encourages interdisciplinary work and facilitates innovation and creativity through experimentation, prototyping, and hands-on learning. We provide hands-on instruction and training in traditional and emerging technologies that includes, but is not limited to, 3D scanning and modeling, digital fabrication, laser cutting and engraving, and microprocessor prototyping. We collaborate with the MakersWeb and other campus spaces to complete complex projects.
