A great first ride for those new to biking that stays around town. A nice car-minimal route with good climbing and a beautiful view of campus from the top of Blaire Rd. Perfect for learning how to shift (or how to pop your chain off).
They don’t come any flatter than this. A relatively busy ten mile loop on Routes 43 and 7. Gorgeous views on top of the climb on 7. Can be made slightly longer by taking Sloan Rd by Cricket Creek Farm and going around Oblong / Torrey Woods and the waterhole. Also great for first-time riders. Heads notice: bike shoulder is non-existent at points.
A beautiful short ride with a fun long climb and a few punchy hills. Amazing views of the reservoir and quiet farm roads. Fun speedy ride back into town.
The Williams Team go-to short ride. Beautiful views and varied terrain all within 20 miles. Burrington Road (off 7) is newly paved and the vistas are worth the extra climbing.
