We hope you’re doing alright! We are excited to get started with Week 1 of the play reading club! But first we need to pick a play!
Kara and Tali, our lovely dramaturgs, have gone ahead and made a list of ten plays examining race by Black playwrights to kick off the list. Please add any other ideas with your name and a brief plot summary!
Cap & Bells also has an in progress sheet of contemporary BIPOC playwrights and some of their plays, and here is a list of plays and musicals by Black writers, but feel free to add any play to the list that is interesting to you.
