To be honest, I didn’t get much done today. After class and lunch, I went to a shopping mall with Konnor to look for a tea cup that we didn’t end up finding. I did, however, find out that the standardized clothing sizes here don’t fit me. Large is just a bit too tight in the chest, but extra large fits me like a garbage bag. In the US, I’m a medium. If I was born and raised in Hong Kong, would I feel the same way about US sizes? I’d obviously be living a different lifestyle: the food I eat throughout the day, the way I express myself through my clothes, and the house I live in would all be different. But there’s little point in speculation. Well fitted or not, I’ve enjoyed every day I spent in this city.
