The first step reads, \u201cFill out the Accommodations Request form, with a hyperlink. This will open a case file and submit your request to Accommodate, Williams\u2019 web-based accommodations management software. See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.williams.edu\/accessible-education\/academic-accommodations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this page<\/a> on the OAE website and scroll down to the section titled &#8220;Reduced Course Loads&#8221; for more details.<\/p>\n<p>The application process consists of 3 parts:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfKV_RPed6KOkSruitbGrlk5tgVn2jmqvb-ulRJAqlDXeLk9w\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reduced Course Load Petition form<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Upload supporting documentation from a healthcare provider<\/li>\n<li>Meet with an OAE accommodation advisor<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1>Housing Accommodations<\/h1>\n<p>Here are links for an <a href=\"https:\/\/campus-life.williams.edu\/housing-accommodations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">overview of the housing accommodations system<\/a> and a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.williams.edu\/accessible-education\/hart-application-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">description of the application process*<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Examples of housing accommodations include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A single room<\/li>\n<li>A private bathroom<\/li>\n<li>Air conditioning<\/li>\n<li>Ground-floor residence\/room location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note the above list is non-exhaustive.<\/p>\n<p>The application process consists of the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Gather documentation from your healthcare provider. This can either be a filled-out version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1SSUKVs6IfFh8JAHcG5bGz8QYzZCbwtOF\/view?usp=sharing\">Documentation of Disability form<\/a> or a signed letter following the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1RPzKZPaS2tY9JueesiCOZ7fVEesmgvU6A0Oghvu6fao\/edit?usp=sharing\">Documentation Guidelines<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Submit an initial housing accommodation form through the <a href=\"https:\/\/williams.starrezhousing.com\/StarRezPortalX\/Login\">Housing Portal<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Submit an accommodation request form to OAE through <a href=\"https:\/\/williams-accommodate.symplicity.com\/\">Accommodate<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Schedule a meeting with an OAE staff member to discuss your request<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>*Although steps 1 and 2 are reversed on the official Williams website, we <strong>strongly recommend gathering documentation BEFORE submitting the initial accommodation form<\/strong>. This is because once the initial accommodation form is submitted, you only have 14 days to provide the documentation.
