We happened to sit next to two Koreans who were kind enough to share some food with us! After that, we went to a spa to get point and pressure massages. It was much needed especially as midterms are coming up and everyone seems so burnt out!

I’ve been thinking about how much more comfortable I am at ICLP compared to last summer at PiB. Maybe it’s I am a bit familiar with the immersive language program experience? But talking to my classmates and teachers is easier now!! Even if it’s tiring, I almost enjoy going to class. I am also more comfortable with using Chinese outside of the classroom. I’ve been making some Taiwanese friends and even watching Chinese shows without subtitles! I don’t understand all of it but enough to find the show amusing.

Can’t wait until midterms are over and language mission week comes up! So excited to make pineapple cake.

Another very tiring week!
