In class, the social problems we discussed overall reminded me a lot about the same social problems that Vietnam also encountered, so I had a lot of fun reading and discussing about them, such as the problems of food safety. \u00a0I noticed that we learned a lot and covered a lot in terms of materials, but I haven\u2019t been able to internalize them all and usually paused a lot when expressing my ideas to teachers in one-on-one sessions. Because of this reason, I felt a little bit dissatisfied sometimes. But I was hoping to take this chance to improve my fluency in speaking as well. This week, we had a presentation competition, and I decided to join. I thought I gained a lot from this experience because of how much the teachers helped my fix my pronunciation and tones, and everything I learned about how to present in front of a large group of people (in Chinese!). During the weekend we went to Chengde.
