More and more food!!<\/p>\n

This week was packed: I went to Din Tai Fung for the second time in Taiwan, tried a poke place all the students had been hyping up, and even went to an Alpaca Caf\u00e9 (yes, real alpacas).<\/p>\n

I also just discovered a massive park right behind our dorms\u2026 of course, I realize this during my second-to-last week here. I started riding the YouBikes for the first time, despite not being the best bike rider, and honestly, they\u2019re super easy, convenient, and should I mention\u2026 basically FREE?!<\/p>\n

This weekend was bittersweet. We had our HTA Talent Show, where we got to perform with our classmates and teachers! Practicing with Chen \u8001\u5e08 and Xu \u8001\u5e08 was a highlight\u2014we were cowgirls, believe it or not \ud83e\udd20. Unfortunately, our 300-level class was nothing compared to the 200s and 400s, who went all out with routines, dance choreographies, and everything.<\/p>\n

*Note for future HTA students: go big or go home.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I also attended my cousin\u2019s wedding! The venue and ceremony were beautiful, but I will say that Taiwanese weddings are very different from American ones. For one, no one dances?!<\/p>\n

And last but not least, I took a trip to Jiufen with a friend. We did a night hike and saw the stunning lights of the town, then ended the night with a bowl of beef noodle soup.
