First week at \u54c8\u53f0\u73ed, and first week in Taiwan\u2026 EVER!<br data-start=\"192\" data-end=\"195\" \/>First impressions? Taiwan is so much bigger than I imagined. I don\u2019t know why I thought I could just hop from one side of the island to the other with ease.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"357\" data-end=\"468\">Second: it\u2019s lively here. Motorcycles everywhere. Tall buildings (mostly old), crammed into tight spaces.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"470\" data-end=\"606\">Third: life here is fast-paced. Honestly, I don\u2019t even know what I originally expected Taiwan to be like\u2014definitely not this fast.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"810\">As for the program\u2026 so many teachers! What the heck. And they\u2019re all so young. The material is a lot, but it\u2019s also exciting being in such a different environment. It\u2019s nothing like Williams at all.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"930\">I\u2019m a little nervous about keeping up with the course load.
