To start off the week, on Sunday I went with my host family to Zhuwei Fishing Harbor, Bali, and then took a ferry across the river to Tamsui Fisherman\u2019s Wharf. After another week of classes, there was “Taipei Night,” HTA’s talent show! We had a third-year class skit (“fashion show” theme) and I even accompanied another student singing “Girl from Ipanema” (in Chinese, of course!). The next day I saw a baseball game, the Brothers vs. the Fubon Guardians, and there was even a musical performance with a K-pop star at the end! Over the weekend I also finally managed to make it to Chiang Kai-shek, where I happened to run into \u738b\u8001\u5e08, my Chinese teacher (what are the chances??), and Taipei 101.<\/p>\n
I can’t believe it’s already the last week: the past few weeks really flew by. As I experience all the “lasts”\u2014the last quiz, the last textbook lesson, the last class\u2014my goal is to finish strong. Until next week!<\/p>\n
