As a result I had a lot more time to chat with friends and eat dinner together. We usually just look at Google Maps for where to eat, which is what we did on Wednesday, but we never expected that the place we chose was such a nice restaurant! Fortunately food prices in Taiwan are cheaper than in the US so it&#8217;s easier to enjoy good food. I think my midterm speech went pretty well, I was still a bit nervous even though I prepared well and have done speeches like this before. Afterward I participated in my classmates&#8217; Dream of the Red Chamber reading group, which was very cool! It was actually really hard because the text is written with the regular\/everyday talk of that time, which to me seems similar to classical chinese.
