The purpose of these &#8220;Mission Days&#8221; is to get ICLP students out the classroom and involved in a fun activity, that also helps us with our Chinese. For my activity, my friends and I did board games on Thursday afternoon, which was actually pretty fun. Although originally we had planned to take a trip to south Taiwan to take advantage of the long weekend, this plan was ultimately foiled by a typhoon that was projected to hit Taiwan. However, the typhoon&#8217;s impact on Taipei was relatively small, just some light rain and wind for a couple days.
