Week 3<\/p>\n
In this week, I did my first speech at ICLP. I was made to do several speeches in Wang Laoshi\u2019s class at Williams so I had no difficulties in crafting the text. I had two speeches, one about an ancient story about animals and the other about my experience on going abroad. I especially liked the first one as it was special to introduce a traditional Korean story in Chinese to the audience from diverse countries. Yet, while practicing it, I found it difficult to choose the right tone so I had to right every single tone for each word. Speaking the right tones from looking at Chinese characters would be the area to improve for the next few weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
