We also chose a poem, either ancient or modern. We were then given a week to prepare, and on Friday we recited our poems and presented their meaning. I chose \u4e61\u6101, or Nostalgia. The author wrote about his longing for his birthplace, Mainland China, while exiled in Taiwan.
