I can&#8217;t believe how much content we&#8217;re getting through in such a short amount of time! The closer we get to the end of the program, the more I realize just how close I&#8217;ve grown to my classmates and teachers these past few weeks. This week, we talked about sexual assault in higher education, America&#8217;s gun violence problem, the legalization of marijuana, and internet celebrities. We had a debate on whether or not the US should completely ban guns today, and I had to argue the opposing side, which was super interesting! We also had another talk from Professor Perry Link about metaphors in Chinese and in English.<\/p>\n<p>I still have a bit to get through before I move on to week 7 (my weekly quiz and a video of me reciting two Classical Chinese poems), but I&#8217;m super excited about the progress I&#8217;ve made so far!
