After a grueling 13-hour flight, I’ve made it to Taiwan! Only to immediately be thrown into quarantine, where I’ll remain until Friday (June 10). On the bright side, I’m very much jet-lagged, and have woken up before 5 AM both days of quarantine thus far, so it’s probably good that I’m not expected to immediately be joining society.<\/p>\n

It has been very cool (not literally, because it’s like 100 degrees here) to be in Taiwan! The airport process was incredibly efficient, so I’ve got a SIM card, cash, and a few COVID-tests to take, and then I’m all set for the next few months (with the exception of weather. I’m not ready for that.) Anyways, I’ll likely write a post every Saturday, so next week I’ll be out of quarantine and moved into my apartment, which should be fun!<\/p>\n
