Taiwan Adventures – Week 7!!! (ICLP)

Hi guys! I can’t believe I only have a week and a half left of this amazing opportunity. So much has happened in the past week, so let’s get started!

Last Tuesday to Friday I was preparing for my final oral exam, something that made me quite nervous. However, my oral time was really early in the morning on Friday, so after that, I was done! I think in the oral, my favorite subject to talk about was topics related to the Business Class that I am taking. Considering this is my first “business class” in general, I really feel like I learn new things in the class everyday.

Then over the weekend, I did various things to celebrate. I got to experience Taipei’s night life for the first time, painted my nails, and really got to enjoy doing things that made me happy. Oh! Also I went to Taipei 101. I had only previously seen the outside, so actually going inside was really cool. (and because I’m part of NTU, I get a student discount) I went at sunset, so the view of Taipei was extremely beautiful. The elevator going up was also really cool as well. It’s just amazing how science and architecture has gone this far. (I’m still not going to forgive my friend who was jumping in the elevator while we were 89 floors up however… you know who you are…)

Then this Monday – Wednesday, ICLP held their Final Written Exams! I think I did okay, but I’m not too sure. I don’t want to be too overconfident! I’m hoping to take my last 10 days smoothly. As I would say in Chinese, 輕輕鬆鬆的享受!

Okay, last thing before I end this. I forgot to mention that I’ve been only using traditional characters in class so I can practice reading traditional characters. They do have a history of over 3000+ years! However, I can only write in Simplified. Should I be concerned? If anyone has advice, please reach out to me!

Well, here’s to 10 days left. Bye!!
