大家好！
This past week everyone was resting after getting back from the social study trip. Last Tuesday we had classes off, and I got to use that day to add another month of data to my Taiwanese phone number (this means I’m halfway done 🙁 ). I also started writing my research report and walked around Gongguan.
This past weekend was also really fun. Yesterday we went to Maokong! We rode the gondolas up to the top of the mountain and got to meet a tea farmer. He showed us how he makes tea and we tried some of it too. It was very good! We also got to make our own tofu and walk around some of the old streets in the area.
Writing this at the end of week five means I’m a little more than halfway done with the program. It’s been really great so far, and while three weeks seem like a long time, I know they will fly by very quickly. I’ll be making the most out of these next few weeks and soaking up every second of my time left in Taiwan!
