This past week was very fun, as I got the chance to go and explore some traditional Chinese clothing shops. I got to dry on tons of beautiful clothing, and eventually even bought a traditional Chinese shirt with beautiful ancient character designs on it. On the weekend, I went out to an all you can eat hot pot restaurant, and ended up sitting with six Taiwanese folks who welcomed me and my friends to their table. We ended up sitting there talking (in Chinese) for about 2 and a half hours, until the restaurant closed up and we had to head out. I also had my final oral exam, which turned out to be a good experience, and I think my preparation helped me in using new grammar structures and answering the questions in a clear way. Then I studied for my final written exams, which take place next week. My time in Taiwan is already wrapping up, I can’t believe its almost been two whole months. There is still so much I want to do and see, and I plan to use these last two weeks to squeeze as much Taiwanese experience in as I can!
