On this Friday, I did my speaking test. From my memory, the phrases that I planned to say and actually said include “一般来说”,”随便”,”不管—都”. On the other hand, I was not able to say “又是—又是“, ”Verb–不Verb“ and etc. During the test, I realized that I have this habit of repeating some topic over and over. For example, when I was asked to explain my favorite season, I first started with the spring’s not too hot and not too cold weather and elaborated on the flower festival that I like to visit. Then, I went back to explain the weather and could see the teachers getting confused. To analyze why, I was feeling too pressured to say the key phrases that I was supposed to say, which messed up the flow of the response. I feel the need to do more exercise on chronologically organizing my thoughts and saying it as planned.
