大家好！The first week of studying in Taiwan has flown by, and is on track to be a great experience. This week was a short week because of the Dragon Boat festival, so it was a nice way to ease into the studious nature of the ICLP program. On Monday (6/19) of this week, I met up with one of my Williams classmates Rem (studying in Taiwan through Harvard Taiwan Academy) for dinner at a local restaurant. One theme that has certainly made itself clear throughout my first days here is the quality of the food in Taiwan. I don’t think I’ve had a bad meal, and have tried so many new dishes and flavors. For the Dragon Boat festival, I went to see the Dragon Boat races at DaJia Riverside park. These races were incredible to watch as the brightly colored and decorated boats competed along the river. There were so many people who came out to watch the Dragon Boat races and made the atmosphere absolutely electric . Super excited to see what fun things next week has in store for me!
