這個星期只有三天上課。上個星期是演講，這個星期是語言活動，下個星期有口試，感覺每個星期有很大的事。周一我在網上找到了語言交換，我參加了也認識很多人。那邊台灣人也不少。我也認識了一個美國人，其實他的中文很不錯，可是他真的沒有禮貌，一直批評我的中文也不願意跟我說中文。碰到這種人讓我很驚訝，但後來覺得好笑，特別是因為坐在他旁邊的台灣人都説他的批評沒有道理，讓他更生氣。我覺得這是個例外，不知道為什麽他是這樣，但從來沒碰到真麽無禮的人。換話題來説，周四是語言活動，意思就是ICLP有很多活動學生可以選，包括玩桌游、KTV、做鳳梨酥、去北投等等。這些活動都是為了學習中文，同時也很好玩，可以跟同學和老師玩。我自己選去北投，我們參觀了一個舊市場和一個新市場、學習市場的歷史和新市場存在的原因。然後我們去了北投有名的溫泉博物館，學習北投溫泉的歷史。最後有機會泡溫泉！
This week only had 3 days of classes because of the Language Activity. Last week we had the midterm speech, this week is the Language Activity, and next week is our speaking test, feels like every week has something big. On Monday I went to a language exchange that I found online and met a lot of people. One of them was an American whose Chinese was actually pretty good, but he was very rude and constantly criticized my Chinese and wouldn’t speak Chinese with me. This made me very surprised at the time but later I thought it was pretty funny, especially because the Taiwanese person next to him would say that his criticisms didn’t make sense, which made him even more mad. On Thursday we had our Language Activity, which is an activity organized by ICLP to learn Chinese while out in Taipei. We could choose what activity to do, such as board games (in Chinese), KTV, making pineapple cakes, going to Beitou, and much more. I chose to go to Beitou, and we visited an old and new traditional market, learned their histories and the reason why they built the new market. We also went to the Hot Springs Museum and learned about the history of Beitou, afterwards we ate lunch and went to the hot springs!
