大家好！我叫唐丹尼，剛剛念完了大二。今年夏天我在臺北的ICLP學習中文。我在台灣已經一個星期了，第一個星期一方面過得很亂是因為我還在適應臺北，另一方面過得很開心是因為我認識了好多新室友和朋友。這兩個月要住在新北市永和區頂溪，離學校有點遠但離捷運站很近。好像會很不錯！這個星期都是跟我的室友玩，我們去了公館夜市，爬了象山，也去了臺北一零一吃飯。這個星期也是我第一次去抱石，抱石以後認識了一家飯館的老闆！第一個星期做了好多事，真是好玩極了。
Hi everyone! I’m Nathaniel Tunggal, and I just finished my second year at Williams. This summer I’m studying at ICLP in Taiwan. I’ve already been in Taiwan for a week, on one hand I’ve been very all over the place trying to get used to a new city and place, on the other hand it’s been a lot of fun hanging out with new roommates and friends! I’m living in Dingxi in New Taipei City, it’s really close to the MRT and pretty convenient. This first week I went to the Gongguan night market, climbed Elephant Mountain, and went to Taipei 101 to eat food. It was also my first time indoor rock climbing, afterwards we met a Teppanyaki restaurant’s owner! It was such a busy but fun first week.
