Midterm week is finally over! I was waking up at 5 a.m. every morning and getting to Starbucks by 6:30 a.m. to study before my exams. Overall it went pretty well. Since it’s language mission week, we have a longer weekend than usual. Kristina and I decided to go on a 2-day-1-night trip to Shifen/Jiufen/Fulong. All we really did was walk around and eat a lot of food. At night we watched the sunset at Jiufen, I really wish Hannah were there with us. The next morning we left early to Fulong beach and bought some snacks/drinks, rented a tent, and sunbathed… It was really hot and we weren’t exactly dressed for the beach, but it was a nice break from the city. After coming back, we went out with a friend I made from my news class.
Hannah is doing the 3-day hiking trip for language mission week, and Kristina and I did the pineapple cake/traditional customs trip. We then ate Vietnamese food, vegan takoyaki, and finally came back home to rest. The next few weeks will probably be busy as the final presentation is coming up… But I can’t wait to go home! Haha.
