KCJS Week 9 (2)
Something that I appreciated about the KCJS program is that there was only 2-3 first-year college students. Prior to the start of classes, I narrowly assumed that most people would be in a similar situation as me given that we … Continue reading
KCJS Week 9 (1)
It’s incredible that it’s actually over…. This summer has been my journey into a space where I can see just how little Japanese I know and how much there is to learn from now on. Accordingly, I don’t think I … Continue reading
KCJS Week 8

KCJS Week 4
This week, we started the Hiyaku Textbook. I can’t judge a book by its cover, but this one surely has an aesthetic one. This textbook is intended to initiate the transition from beginner stages of learning Japanese to the intermediate … Continue reading

KCJS Program (2) – Douglas Pineda Gutierrez
Hello all! This week, I am thinking about how learning a language can be incredibly beautiful, rewarding, and demoralizingly strenuous all at the same time. I have always heard that Japanese is among the most difficult of languages to learn … Continue reading
