During week 8, we were busy preparing for our final presentation. I decided to do my presentation on Taiwanese contemporary art, focusing on the goals of the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Tehching Hsieh, and Wu Tienchang. While researching for the presentation, I learned a lot about the ways contemporary art has contributed to Taiwanese identity and culture. I also learned about the influence of 解严／戒严 on more Taiwanese citizens and more radical artists like Wu Tienchang.
