Not much to report this week! Because we got back from our Social Study trip on Monday and they gave us Tuesday off (which was very nice), we only had two class days this week, during which we learned about plastic surgery and beauty standards, and advertising and marketing (I have to say the textbook covers some very interesting material!). I spent most of my free time during the week writing my Social Study paper, which was due on Sunday. For my paper, I interviewed several college students and older people to gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s young people’s views about religion, especially compared to Western countries such as the U.S. Now that it’s the start of week 6, it’s hard to believe that there are now officially less than 3 weeks left in the program. I’ll certainly try my best to make good use of them!
