I just finished my first full week at Princeton in Beijing! After arriving last Friday night, I have been fully immersed in improving my Chinese proficiency. I have met so many wonderful students and friends from all over, all dedicated to learning the second most used language in the world. This past week has consisted of boundless classes, learning, studying, and (most importantly) good food. Over the weekend, we got the chance to go to the Beihai Park (北海公园), 798 Art District (798 艺术区), the Great Wall (长城), and the Chaoyang Park (朝阳公园). After 10 long years since I have been in China, it has been a great first week back, and I look forward to the next 7 weeks!
