This is my post for my seventh week of classes at ICLP. This week, I learned how to discuss the livelihood of farmers, shopping in a department store, and the Chinese idiom 如鱼得水. Additionally, at the end of the week, I took my final oral exam, discussing a variety of topics covered throughout the summer program in a fifteen-minute interview. I believe that I responded well to each question in the oral exam, which gives me a reason to believe I will also do well with the final written exams next week. On that note, as the summer semester at ICLP wraps up, I spent this weekend preparing for my final exams, going over lots of vocabulary and grammar structures that each class has covered over the course of the summer.
