Having attended ICLP for a month, I started feeling a little bit exhausted by the repetitive life of taking 4 hour long classes and doing 4 hour long homework. On Friday, the school held a speech day where students over level 4(so not me) make a 5 minute presentation in chinese. I attended the presentation to support my friends. There, I was amazed by how fluent students’ Chinese was and how confident they were in presenting something that they are interested in. Listening to people, I gained motivation in learning chinese. Someday, I wish I could reach that type of level at which I can present my ideas and answer the audience’s questions without any problems.
